What gets you banned on VERGR?
The fastest routes to a ban: cheating or match-fixing in tournaments, posting illegal or hateful content, harassment, running multiple accounts to dodge restrictions, selling Coins or accounts for real money outside the platform, and payment fraud. Lesser offences usually earn warnings or temporary mutes first; the list above can end an account outright.
Instant-severity offences
- Cheating in tournaments: unauthorised software, scripts, bots, exploiting bugs, or anything that corrupts a real-money competition. Also voids results and forfeits winnings.
- Match-fixing and collusion: deliberately losing, pre-agreeing to split prizes, coordinating outcomes, or reporting false results.
- Illegal or abhorrent content: anything unlawful, sexual content involving minors, terrorism, or credible threats. These also go to law enforcement.
- Economy abuse: selling or buying Coins, Gems, VP, or accounts for real money outside the platform, laundering, or payment fraud.
- Ban evasion: coming back on a new account while banned, or multi-accounting to dodge restrictions.
The escalation ladder for everything else
Ordinary misconduct, spam, toxicity, harassment, repeated rule-bending, moves up a ladder: content removal, then mutes (temporary loss of chat and posting), then temporary bans, then a permanent ban. Moderators match the response to the offence and your history, and every step can be appealed.
A ban can also freeze what is in the account: balances tied to cheating or fraud are forfeited, and pending payouts can be withheld during investigation.
