How do I manage my community?

Creator Studio, then Community, is your hub for the people side: seeing who your supporters and members are and keeping the relationship warm. Around it sit the practical tools: group chats you own, membership tiers with linked private communities, and stream moderators you appoint while live.

The pieces of community management

  • The Community screen: your people at a glance, supporters, members, and how the community is developing.
  • Top supporters (in Earnings): the shortlist of who backs you hardest. A thank-you goes further than you think.
  • Group chats: create groups for your community from Messages. Public groups grow by invite link, private ones by admin approval.
  • Membership communities: when you set up membership tiers, you can link a private VERGR group to a tier, and paying members are added automatically.
  • Stream moderators: while live, appoint trusted viewers as chat moderators so your chat stays healthy when it gets busy.

A workflow that scales

  1. Start with one public group as your hangout, linked from your profile.
  2. As it grows, appoint a couple of moderators you trust, in the group and in your stream chat.
  3. When you launch memberships, link a private members-only group to a paid tier: it becomes the inner circle, and it fills itself.
  4. Check the Community screen weekly like you check the dashboard: retention of the people you have beats chasing strangers.
