Why are creator quests VP-only and not Coins?

Because Coins are real money, and printing them for daily checklist tasks would inflate the economy until everyone's earnings were worth less. VP costs nothing to award but is genuinely valuable to you: it climbs your rank, and rank permanently cuts the commission you pay when converting Coins to Gems.

The economic reason

Every Coin on VERGR is backed by someone paying real money for it. That is what makes tips, prizes, and cash-outs real. If quests minted free Coins daily for thousands of creators, the platform would be printing unbacked currency, and the value of everyone's earnings, including yours, would erode. Platforms that tried it drowned in farming bots. So Coins only ever enter through purchases, and only move between people through tips, prizes, and memberships.

Why VP is not a consolation prize

  • VP drives rank, and rank cuts your conversion commission from 30% down to 15% at the top. That is real money saved on every single cash-out, forever.
  • A creator converting steadily will bank far more from a lower commission than any plausible daily coin drip would have paid.
  • VP also unlocks rank badges and status, and it never resets: every quest permanently compounds.

The design in one sentence

Coins are earned from your audience; VP is earned from your effort, and effort is rewarded by keeping more of what your audience gives you.
