Where do I see a tournament prize?

On the tournament's own page, the prize is shown up top with the event's key stats. For ticketed events you will see the prize purse alongside the ticket price and tickets sold, and the purse can grow as more fans buy tickets. Remember the payout rule: VERGR tournaments are winner-takes-all for the coin prize.

Reading the prize display

• Prize purse: the headline number, what the winner takes.
• On ticketed events: the ticket price and tickets-sold progress sit next to the purse. A slice of every ticket feeds the purse, so a popular event's prize climbs before your eyes.
• Host contribution: hosts can top up the purse from their own coins to make an event worth entering, that is baked into the displayed number.

Who gets what

• The coin prize is winner-takes-all, in every bracket type. One champion, one purse.
• Squad tournaments pay the winning squad's shared treasury rather than one person's wallet.
• Everyone who competes earns Tournament Points for the global leaderboard, and top placements earn XP and VP, so a deep run pays progression even without the purse.

Prizes only pay out on confirmed results: instantly for auto-verified games, after referee confirmation for the rest. A pending prize right after a final is normal, it is being verified.
