What are Tournament Points (TP)?

TP is VERGR's competitive ranking currency: every participant earns some in every tournament, scaled by placement, and it never converts to money. It powers the global leaderboard, seeds Rating-mode brackets, and acts as your competitive reputation when hosts review invitational applications.

Why TP exists

Coin prizes on VERGR are winner-takes-all: one champion takes the purse. TP is the counterweight: a progression everyone earns, in every event, scaled by how deep you went. The winner gets the coins; everybody gets a rung on the ladder.

What TP does

• Global leaderboard: TP is the ranking, the long-term scoreboard across all games and events.
• Seeding: tournaments using Rating seeding order their bracket by TP, high-TP players are placed apart, like pros in a draw.
• Reputation: your TP and history are visible on your profile, and invitational hosts read them when you apply.
• It is not money: TP never converts to Coins or Gems and cannot be bought, it can only be competed for. That is precisely what makes it mean something.

Earning it

Enter tournaments and finish them. Deeper runs pay more, and consistent participation compounds: a regular competitor with steady placements out-ranks a one-hit wonder. Note that TP is separate from VP: VP is platform progression (and cuts your fees), TP is purely competitive standing.
