What is the squad treasury and how does it work?

The squad treasury is a shared pot the squad controls. When a squad member wins a tournament, 10% of that prize is automatically added to the treasury. The squad can use it to back entries, fund events, or pay members out through an approval process, so it is never one person's pocket.

The treasury is what turns a squad from a group chat into a real team with shared resources. It is a pot the whole squad builds and the squad controls.

How it fills up

When a member of your squad wins a tournament, 10% of that prize is automatically routed into the squad treasury. Everyone contributing a slice of their wins means the treasury grows steadily the more the squad competes and succeeds. Members can also fund it directly.

What the squad can do with it

  • Back tournament entries for members the squad wants to send.
  • Fund squad-hosted events with a bigger reward to draw players in.
  • Pay members out through the squad's approval process.
  • Sponsor public tournaments from the treasury.

It is controlled, not a free-for-all

Treasury payouts go through an approval step rather than letting anyone grab funds, and larger distributions need a proper sign-off. Members can also see a breakdown of what flowed in and from which tournaments, so it stays transparent.

The 10% squad contribution applies to members' tournament wins. It is what lets a squad punch above its weight collectively.
