What are squad challenges?
Leader-created goals for the whole squad, with a shared reward when completed: the squad's leadership defines a target (play X matches, win a tournament, grow the roster), members work toward it together, and completion pays out the promised VP or coin reward. They live on the squad's Challenges screen.
How challenges work
- Leadership creates a challenge on the squad's Challenges screen: the goal and the reward.
- The squad works toward it: progress is the squad's collective doing, not one member's grind.
- When the goal is hit, the challenge completes and the reward pays out as defined.
- Old challenges can be cleared and new ones posted, keeping a rolling target in front of the squad.
Why they work
- Direction: a squad with a stated goal plays with purpose; "win our first squad tournament this month" changes how practice feels.
- Onboarding: challenges give new members an immediate way to contribute.
- Reward with meaning: coin rewards funded from the treasury put the squad's money where its mouth is, and VP rewards feed everyone's rank.
Challenge rewards come from what the squad itself puts up, the platform does not mint prizes for them. That keeps challenge rewards real, like everything else in the economy.
