Is there an iOS app?

There is no App Store download, but there is a real iPhone experience: add VERGR to your home screen from Safari and it runs full-screen from its own icon, with push notifications and the full stream viewer. It takes ten seconds to set up and updates itself automatically.

On iPhone, VERGR ships as a home-screen app instead of an App Store download. Functionally you get the app experience: an icon on your home screen, full-screen with no browser chrome, push notifications, and the immersive stream viewer.

Setting it up

  1. Open vergr.app in Safari (it must be Safari, not Chrome).
  2. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Why not the App Store?

VERGR runs real-money features: tournaments with cash prizes, a coin economy, and cash-outs. App store rules force purchases through the store's own payment system with commissions of up to 30%, which would make Coins and prizes meaningfully worse for you. Distributing directly keeps the full feature set and the full value of your money.

The home-screen app is always up to date automatically, there is nothing to update or reinstall.
