How do squad tournament winnings get split?

They are not split between players at all: when a squad wins a squad tournament, the entire coin prize goes into the squad's shared treasury. From there, what happens to it is squad governance: treasuries fund things the squad decides on together, like sponsoring future tournaments.

The rule

Squad tournaments are winner-takes-all like every VERGR tournament, but the "winner" is the squad, so the prize pays the squad treasury, the team's shared wallet, rather than any individual member's balance. Nobody has to referee an awkward five-way split at 2am, the money lands in the one place the whole team owns.

What a treasury is for

  • It is the squad's shared bank: members can contribute to it, and tournament winnings flow into it automatically.
  • Spending it is collective: treasuries fund squad activities, most notably sponsoring tournaments from the treasury, putting the war chest up as a prize to host your own event.
  • It is managed through squad roles: the squad's leadership handles treasury decisions, which is why choosing a squad you trust matters before you compete for money together.

What individual players still get

Everyone who competed earns Tournament Points on their own record, and top placements earn XP and VP individually. The competitive credit is personal even though the coins are collective.
