How do squad events work?

Squad events are scheduled happenings with RSVPs: leadership creates one (game night, scrim, tournament run, watch party) with a time and description, members mark themselves going or not on the Events screen, and everyone can see who is in. It turns "we should play sometime" into a plan.

Creating and joining events

  1. Leadership creates the event on the squad's Events screen: what, when, and any details.
  2. Members see it and RSVP: going or not going.
  3. The attendee list is visible, so you know if game night has six people or sixteen before it starts.
  4. Events can be updated or removed by leadership if plans change.

Events that squads actually run

  • Game nights: the bread and butter, casual sessions in the squad's hangout room.
  • Scrims and practice: structured warm-ups before entering a squad tournament.
  • Tournament runs: coordinate around an event the squad has entered, with the champion vote and check-in times attached.
  • Watch parties: gather in the hangout while squad champions compete.

The rhythm matters more than the format: a squad with one reliable weekly event retains members far better than one with grand plans and no calendar.
