How do I set up a tip goal on my stream?

Set a tip goal when you set up your stream. On the Go Live screen, turn on the tip goal, enter a target amount in Coins, and add a short reason if you like. While you are live, a progress bar fills as viewers tip, and everyone sees how close the goal is, which is a proven way to encourage more tips.

A tip goal turns tipping into a shared milestone. Viewers can see the bar climbing toward a target, and hitting it feels like a moment everyone made happen together.

Set it up

  1. Open the Go Live screen to set up your stream.
  2. Find the Tips and Goal section.
  3. Turn on the tip goal.
  4. Enter your target amount in Coins.
  5. Optionally add a short reason, for example what the goal is for.
  6. Go live. The goal bar appears on your broadcast and on the viewer's screen.

How it behaves live

Every tip during the stream adds to the goal, and the progress bar updates in real time for you and your viewers. When the goal is reached, it celebrates the milestone. Tip alerts also pop on screen as tips come in, so the room can see who is contributing.

Tips still carry the standard flat 10% fee, so the creator receives 90% of each tip. The goal bar tracks the tipped amounts toward your target.
