How do I invite a co-host while I am live?
Open the co-host option in your broadcaster controls while live, search for the person, and send the invite. They get a notification immediately, and the moment they accept, they join your stream with their own camera. You can have up to 3 co-hosts, cancel pending invites, or remove someone mid-stream.
Mid-stream invites
- While live, open the co-host invite from your broadcaster controls.
- Search for the creator by name and send the invite.
- They receive a notification with an accept or decline page.
- On accept, they appear in your stream alongside you: no restart, the stream just grows a face.
- Changed your mind, or a pending invite is hanging? Cancel it, or remove an active co-host, from the same place.
Things that make it smooth
- Warn them off-stream first: a surprise invite catches people without a mic set up.
- If they are mid-stream themselves, no problem: accepting links you up without ending their broadcast, and each of you keeps your own viewers.
- Room for 3: you can stack up to three co-hosts for a four-way stream.
- The host stays in charge: your title, your audience setting, your moderation.
