How do I get the creator verification badge?

Complete creator verification in Creator Studio, then Verification: a one-time identity check (ID document plus a liveness selfie) done inside the app. Passing marks your account verified, with the badge shown on your profile, and it is also the unlock for the Ad Center, payouts, and membership tiers.

What it is

Creator verification proves the person behind the channel is real. It is not a fame badge you apply for: it is an identity check anyone can complete, and it exists because verified creators unlock the money side of the studio: payouts, the Ad Center, and paid membership tiers.

The steps

1. Open Creator Studio, then Verification.
2. Give consent, then enter your legal name, date of birth (18+), country, and address.
3. Photograph your ID: passport (photo page only), or driver license or national ID (front and back).
4. Complete the short liveness selfie: a few quick on-camera prompts prove a real person is present, and your face is matched to the ID.
5. Review and submit. You will be notified when it is approved.

Your documents are not kept

The uploads are encrypted on your device before they are sent, only the review process can read them, and they are permanently deleted once the decision is made. What remains is the verified status itself.
