How do I delete a squad?

Only the President can do it: Squad Settings, then Delete, with a confirmation, and it is permanent, the squad, its chat, media, and page are gone for good. Settle the treasury and tell your members before you pull the trigger, because there is no undo.

The steps

1. Be the President: deletion is locked to the squad's one President, nobody else sees it work.
2. Settle affairs first: spend or distribute what is in the treasury as the squad agrees, and let members know the squad is closing.
3. Open Squad Settings, choose delete, and confirm the warning.
4. The squad is permanently removed.

Before you delete, consider

• Handover instead: a squad with living members but a tired President is a leadership vacancy, not a funeral. Passing the presidency keeps the community alive.
• The name is not parked: deletion does not reserve the squad's identity for your future comeback. Rebuilding later starts from zero.
• Members are not migrated: they simply stop having this squad. If the group is moving to a new squad, create it and invite people across first.

Deletion cannot be undone by support. "Permanently" is doing real work in that sentence.
