How do I clip a moment while I am broadcasting?

Hit the clip button in your broadcaster controls right after something great happens: it saves the last stretch of your stream as a clip, 30 seconds on Free (3 clips per stream), 60 seconds on Lite (5 per stream), 90 seconds and unlimited on Pro. The moment is captured backwards, so you clip after it happens, not before.

How it works

While you are live, the stream keeps a rolling memory of the most recent moments. Tapping clip grabs that buffer, the thing that JUST happened, and saves it as a clip. You do not need to predict greatness in advance: land the play first, then hit the button.

Your clip allowance

  • Free: clips capture the last 30 seconds, up to 3 clips per stream.
  • Lite: 60 seconds back, up to 5 clips per stream.
  • Pro: 90 seconds back, unlimited clips.

Why clip live instead of later

  • Streams are not kept forever, clips are: clipping live is how a moment becomes permanent.
  • Clips are your discovery engine: they circulate in the clips feed and bring viewers to your next stream.
  • The emotion is real: a clip cut in the heat of the moment carries the genuine reaction, which is what makes clips travel.

Viewers can request clips of your stream too, so encourage your chat to clip your plays: it is free promotion made by the people who liked it most.
