How do I accept or decline a squad invitation?
Squad invitations arrive as a notification and wait in your squad invitations list: open one to see the squad, then accept to join instantly or decline to pass. Nothing happens without your say-so, and declining is silent and consequence-free.
Responding to an invite
- You get a notification when someone invites you. The invitation also sits in your squad invitations list, so there is no rush.
- Before deciding, visit the squad's page: members, announcements, events, and tournament history tell you what you would be joining.
- Accept, and you are in immediately as a member: squad chat, events, and everything else opens up.
- Decline, and the invitation closes quietly. The squad is not notified with any drama, and nothing else changes.
Worth checking before you accept
- Activity: is the squad alive? Recent announcements and events are the pulse.
- Fit: competitive squads expect tournament participation; social squads expect hanging out. The page usually makes the culture obvious.
- Your capacity: you can be in multiple squads, but every squad deserves a member who actually shows up.
Joining a squad also makes you eligible for its side of things: squad tournaments, treasury-funded events, and, if you signed up through a referral link, completing your friend's referral requirements.
