How do I accept or decline a squad invitation?

Squad invitations arrive as a notification and wait in your squad invitations list: open one to see the squad, then accept to join instantly or decline to pass. Nothing happens without your say-so, and declining is silent and consequence-free.

Responding to an invite

  1. You get a notification when someone invites you. The invitation also sits in your squad invitations list, so there is no rush.
  2. Before deciding, visit the squad's page: members, announcements, events, and tournament history tell you what you would be joining.
  3. Accept, and you are in immediately as a member: squad chat, events, and everything else opens up.
  4. Decline, and the invitation closes quietly. The squad is not notified with any drama, and nothing else changes.

Worth checking before you accept

  • Activity: is the squad alive? Recent announcements and events are the pulse.
  • Fit: competitive squads expect tournament participation; social squads expect hanging out. The page usually makes the culture obvious.
  • Your capacity: you can be in multiple squads, but every squad deserves a member who actually shows up.

Joining a squad also makes you eligible for its side of things: squad tournaments, treasury-funded events, and, if you signed up through a referral link, completing your friend's referral requirements.
