How do disputes get resolved?
Open a dispute from the match screen and upload your evidence (screenshots, recordings). The payout freezes while a moderator reviews both sides and rules on the result. Contested calls escalate up the moderation chain, and prizes only ever move on a confirmed outcome, so a dispute can never be outrun by a payout.
The process
- Dispute from the match screen, not the chat: arguing in chat does nothing mechanical, the dispute button is what freezes the payout.
- Upload evidence: end-of-match screenshots, clips, or recordings. The scoreboard screenshot you took at the end of the game is exactly what this is for.
- A moderator reviews both sides' evidence, the match data, and any referee notes, then rules.
- Disagree with the ruling? Serious cases can escalate to senior moderators, and ultimately a commander-level review. Final decisions release or redirect the prize.
How to be on the winning side of disputes
- Screenshot every result screen, every time. Ten seconds of habit wins disputes.
- Play on your registered account with the details the tournament asked for, identity confusion is a top dispute cause.
- Report problems immediately: a dispute opened right after the match reads very differently from one opened after the bracket moved on.
- Never agree to "settle it privately": off-platform deals about results are match-fixing territory.
False disputes are not free: knowingly claiming a win you did not earn is result manipulation, a serious offence.
