VERGR requires users to be 18 or older because the platform involves Coin purchases and creator payments. Confirming your date of birth is a legal requirement, not just a formality.

Financial transactions and adult-facing features are regulated activities in most countries. Age verification is required by law to protect minors from accessing them.

Why 18?

What happens with your date of birth?

Your date of birth is stored securely and is used only to verify your age. It is not displayed on your public profile and is not shared with other users.

If you enter a date of birth that makes you under 18, you will not be able to complete registration. There is no workaround for this requirement.
