What is the conversion rate at each rank?

The conversion commission slides smoothly from 30% at the lowest rank down to 10% at the very top, getting a little smaller with every level you gain. The approximate band for each of the 11 ranks is below. Your exact rate is always shown in the wallet before you confirm a conversion.

The commission is calculated per level, so it eases down gradually rather than jumping at rank boundaries. Here is roughly where each rank sits, from most expensive to cheapest.

Approximate rate by rank

• Rookie: around 30% to 28%.
• Contender: around 28% to 26%.
• Rival: around 26% to 24%.
• Challenger: around 24% to 22%.
• Elite: around 22% to 20%.
• Champion: around 20% to 18%.
• Veteran: around 18% to 16%.
• Legend: around 16% to 14%.
• Mythic: around 14% to 12%.
• Ascendant: around 12% to 10%.
• Immortal: 10%, the lowest possible rate.

Why a range, not one number

Each rank spans several levels, and the commission drops a little at every level. That is why a rank is shown as a small band: early in a rank you pay near the top of its range, and by the time you are about to promote you are near the bottom. The rate never rises and never goes below 10%.
