What if my username is already taken?

If your preferred username is taken, try adding numbers, underscores, or a short suffix. VERGR will tell you the moment you type a name that is unavailable and show you that it is free once you find one that works.

Usernames on VERGR are unique. The availability check happens in real time as you type, so you know straight away whether a name is free.

Ideas for finding a free username

• Add numbers at the end: PurpleFox becomes PurpleFox99.
• Add an underscore: Purple_Fox.
• Include your main game: PurpleFox_CS2.
• Shorten it: PxFox instead of PurpleFox.
• Add your region or country: PurpleFoxUK.

Rules for usernames

• 3 to 24 characters.
• Letters, numbers, and underscores only.
• No spaces or special characters.
• Not impersonating another person or brand.

Once you pick a username during sign-up you can change it later from your profile settings. Your handle is part of your public URL, so choose something you are happy to keep.
