How do I tip a creator?

You can tip with Coins from a stream, a post, a profile, or a creator's Vergr.me page. A tip costs the Coins you send, the platform takes a flat 10%, and the creator gets the rest. You need Coins in your wallet first, which you can buy or earn.

Tipping is the most direct way to support someone on VERGR, and it is built to be fair to the creator. You send Coins, the platform takes a small flat cut, and the creator keeps the rest. No sliding scale, no mystery deductions. Here is how to do it and exactly what the creator receives.

Where you can tip

You can tip in all the places it makes sense to. During a live stream there is a tip button right there, and big tips can pop up on screen so the creator sees your support in the moment. You can tip on a post or a clip you enjoyed, from someone's profile, and from a creator's Vergr.me page if they have a tip jar set up. Wherever you are, the flow is the same: pick an amount, confirm, done.

Get Coins first

Tips are sent in Coins, so you need some in your wallet. You can buy Coins in the Shop with a card or with crypto, and your first purchase is 20% off. You can also earn Coins by competing and getting tipped yourself, then turn around and support other people with them. Either works.

What the creator actually gets

When you tip, the platform takes a flat 10% and the creator receives the other 90%. So a 100-coin tip puts 90 Coins in the creator's pocket. That 10% is the same for everyone, whether the creator is on the free plan or on Pro. VERGR does not charge creators more for being successful, and it does not quietly widen the cut as they grow. The creator can then keep those Coins, spend them, or convert them to Gems and cash out.

Tip goals

A lot of streamers set a tip goal for a session, like saving toward new gear or a charity run. When a goal is active, your tip pushes the bar forward and the whole chat can see the progress, which makes supporting feel like a shared thing rather than a quiet transaction. If you want your tip to count toward the goal, tip while the stream is live.

Tips are a real payment to another person, so send what you mean to send. They are processed at the moment you confirm.

Is there a minimum tip?

Tips start small, so you can show support without sending a lot. The exact minimum shows when you open the tip option.

Does the creator pay a fee too?

The flat 10% is taken from the tip itself, and the creator receives the remaining 90%. There is no separate charge layered on top.

Can I tip from my phone?

Yes. Tipping works the same on mobile and desktop, including the on-stream tip button and tip goals.
