How do I schedule a stream in advance?
On the Go Live screen, switch to scheduling, pick a date and time, add your title, game, and cover, and save it. Your scheduled stream shows up so followers can plan around it, and they can be reminded before you start. When the time comes, you open the stream and go live as normal.
Scheduling a stream is the easiest way to make sure people are actually there when you go live. Instead of starting cold to an empty room, you announce the time in advance, your followers can opt to be reminded, and they show up when you start.
Schedule it
- Open the Go Live screen.
- Switch from going live now to scheduling for later.
- Pick the date and time you plan to stream.
- Add your title, game, tags, and a cover image so it looks sharp wherever it is shown.
- Save the scheduled stream.
- When the time arrives, open the scheduled stream and hit Go Live to actually start broadcasting.
Why scheduling helps
- Followers can plan around it and choose to be reminded before you start.
- A cover image and title set ahead of time make your stream look intentional, not improvised.
- It builds anticipation, which means a warmer room the moment you go live.
Scheduling sets the plan, it does not start the stream for you. You still open the stream and go live yourself at the chosen time, so you control the real start.
Do my followers get notified about a scheduled stream?
Yes, if reminders are on they get a heads-up before it starts, and again when you actually go live (if you keep the notify option on).
Can I change or cancel a scheduled stream?
Yes. Edit the details or cancel it before the start time from the same place you scheduled it.
What if I am late or miss the slot?
Nothing breaks. The schedule is a plan, not a hard trigger. Go live whenever you are ready, or reschedule for a better time.
