How do I report content?
Use the report option on the thing itself: posts, comments, profiles, squads, streams, and reviews all have one in their menu (usually behind the three dots). Pick a reason, add detail if you have it, and it goes straight to the moderation queue. You can report each thing once.
Where the report button lives
- Posts and comments: open the three-dot menu on the post or comment.
- A user: their profile menu.
- A squad: the squad's menu.
- A live stream: the stream's options menu while watching.
- Reviews: the menu on the review itself.
What to include
- Pick the reason that fits best. If the concern involves a minor, choose that reason specifically: those reports jump to the front of the queue automatically.
- Add details if you can. A sentence about what happened and where helps a moderator act on the first pass.
- Submit. You will not be identified to the person you reported.
Private chats are different
Direct messages and private group chats are private and not moderated, so there is no report button inside them. If someone is abusive in your DMs, block them (which also removes the conversation) and, if it is serious, report their profile instead. You can also write to support@vergr.app for anything the buttons do not cover.
