How do I get notified when someone I follow goes live?

Follow the streamer and keep the Live notification category on in Settings → Notifications. When they go live, you get an alert that links straight to their stream. Streamers also choose whether to notify their followers when they start.

Getting go-live alerts

1. Follow the creators you want alerts from.
2. Open Settings → Notifications and make sure the Live category is on.
3. Grant push permission so the alert reaches you when the app is closed.
4. Tap the notification to jump straight into the stream.

Good to know

• Streamers toggle 'notify my followers' when they go live, so you get alerted for those who opt in.
• Live streamers you follow also surface at the top of your feed and in the stories strip.
• An avatar with a red LIVE ring anywhere in the app is live right now.
