How do I follow or unfollow someone?

Tap Follow on someone's profile, on a post, or next to their name in search to follow them. To unfollow, open their profile and tap the Following button. Following is free and instant; unfollowing is silent.

Following someone adds their posts to your Following feed and helps VERGR recommend similar creators in your For You feed.

How to follow

• On a profile: tap the Follow button under their banner.
• On a post in your feed: tap Follow next to the poster's name.
• In search or Explore: tap Follow on their result row.

How to unfollow

1. Open the person's profile.
2. Tap the Following button (it shows you already follow them).
3. Confirm if prompted. You will stop seeing their posts in your Following feed.

Private accounts

If someone has a private profile, tapping Follow sends a request they must approve before you can see their content.

Following and unfollowing do not send the other person an unfollow alert. A new follow does notify them.
