How do I follow a streamer?
Tap Follow on the stream player or on the streamer's profile. Following adds them to your feed, lets you into followers-only chat, and lets you get a live alert when they go live (if you enable it). It is free, and you can unfollow any time.
Found someone worth coming back to? Follow them. The Follow button sits right on the stream player and on their profile. One tap and they are part of your world on VERGR: their content shows up for you, and you can be notified when they go live again.
Follow from a stream
- While watching, tap Follow on the player, or open their profile and tap Follow there.
- Optionally turn on live notifications for them so you get alerted the next time they stream.
- That is it. They are now in your following list.
What following gets you
- Their posts, clips, and streams surface in your feed and live rail.
- Access to followers-only chat if they restrict their stream chat that way.
- A live alert when they go live, if you enable notifications for them.
- It helps the streamer too. On the free plan, creators need 100 followers to stream publicly, so your follow genuinely counts.
Following is public by default in the sense that follower counts are visible, but you can manage your privacy in settings. Unfollowing is instant and does not notify them.
Does the streamer know I followed?
Following is a normal public action and they can see their follower list. There is no special private follow.
How do I get notified when they go live?
Turn on live notifications for that streamer, and make sure push notifications are enabled on your device.
How do I unfollow?
Open their profile and tap the button again, or manage it from your following list. It takes effect immediately.
