How do I follow a match or a player?

Tap the follow option on any match to get notified when it starts, when the result lands, and when it is rescheduled, perfect for tracking a bracket you care about without refreshing. Following a player works like following anyone on VERGR: their profile's Follow button, which also feeds you their streams and posts.

Following a match

1. Open the tournament bracket and tap into the match you care about.
2. Hit the follow control on the match.
3. You now get pushed the moments that matter: match starting, result confirmed, schedule changed.
4. Unfollow the same way when the storyline ends.

Why follow matches

• You are in the same bracket: following your potential next opponents' match tells you who you face the second it is decided.
• You knocked someone out (or they knocked you out): everyone loves a revenge arc.
• You are just a fan: big community matches are spectator sport, and if the match is streamed, you will know when to tune in.

Following a player

Follow them like any creator, from their profile. You will see their posts and get their go-live notifications, which in tournament season means you effectively track their run. Their profile also shows their tournament stats, if you want to scout.
