How do I create a Short?

Tap create, choose Short, and upload a vertical video. VERGR compresses it automatically, lets you add a caption, and posts it to the Shorts feed and your profile. Shorts are best shot in portrait (9:16).

Creating a Short

1. Tap the create button.
2. Choose Short.
3. Pick a vertical video from your device.
4. Wait for it to compress (a progress bar shows this).
5. Add a caption and any hashtags.
6. Post.

Tips

• Shoot in portrait (9:16) so it fills the screen.
• Hook viewers in the first second — Shorts are scrolled fast.
• Add a relevant hashtag so it reaches people browsing that topic.
• Your plan sets the maximum length and file size (see the clip length article).

Videos are compressed on upload to keep playback fast for everyone, so large source files are fine.
